On Oct. 2 after 6:30 p.m. two female suspects entered the Shoppers Drug Mart in the Georgian Mall and allegedly stole fragrances.

One female distracted the employees working the beauty boutique, while the second is seen on video surveillance loading a reusable shopping bag with various fragrances. On the same date four females, two of which were suspects in the Georgian Mall theft, were spotted in Shoppers Drug Mart on Mapleview Drive West, where more items were stolen using the same distraction technique.

The next day, the same four suspects entered the Shoppers Drug Mart on 420 Essa Rd. Video surveillance was reviewed after employees were suspicious that none of the suspects purchased anything while carrying reusable shopping bags. Employees discovered more than $570 in fragrances were stolen.

As officers were taking this report they learned a fourth store was hit. Just 15 minutes after attending the Essa Road store, the four suspects entered a Yonge Street Shoppers Drug Mart, where they allegedly stole merchandise valued at more than $2,600.
