53-year-old man killed in Brampton crash

A 53-year-old man is dead after a single-vehicle crash that happened in a residential subdivision in Brampton.

Peel police were called to Garryoaks Drive, near McVean Drive and Castlemore Road, around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday.

The single-vehicle crash happened at 10:38 a.m. on Garryoaks Drive in the area of McVean Drive and Cotrelle Boulevard in a newly-built subdivision where the roads have not yet been assumed. The driver, the lone occupant of the car, was rushed to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.

A 53-year-old Brampton man is dead after his car crashed into a house on a residential Brampton street Wednesday morning (Nov. 14), Peel Regional Police report.

A 53-year-old man has been pronounced dead after the vehicle he was driving crashed into a home in Brampton this morning.

The single-vehicle crash occurred at around 10:35 a.m. on Garryoaks Drive, near McVean Drive, Peel Regional police said.

The impact does not look the high speed, fatal type. Unless the truck was really a safety lemon. Maybe the driver had a medical emergency and then crashed?

Police said the driver of the vehicle may have suffered a medical episode before the vehicle crashed.

He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the collision. He died of his injuries in hospital a short time later, police said.
