18-year-old man dead after shooting in Brampton
BRAMPTON — A Brampton neighbourhood is left in shock after an 18-year-old man was shot and killed in the area Saturday evening. 

Emergency crews were called to the area of Metzak Drive and Rosepac Avenue, near Bovaird Avenue East and Conestoga Drive, at around 6:40 p.m. for reports of shots fired.

When officers arrived, they located the teen with obvious signs of trauma outside a residence, Const. Bancroft Wright said.

An 18-year-old man died following the shooting, which police responded to at 6:39 p.m. in area of Rosepac Avenue and Metzak Drive.

Multiple suspects sought after Brampton shooting

One resident on the street, who did not want to share her name, told CTV News Toronto she heard seven or eight shots, and called the shooting traumatic.

She said she came out of her house and found an injured teen on her front lawn. She called 911 and got towels to help him.

Peel police investigators have released more information about a Nov. 30 shooting in Brampton that left a man dead.

Const. Wright said investigators are looking for multiple suspects seen in a light-coloured vehicle. It was last spotted on Metzak Drive.

Police arrived in the residential neighbourhood to find the man outside a house suffering from gunshot wounds.

When asked if the shooting was targeted, Wright said it is too early in the investigation, but they believe it is an isolated incident.
