Police bust illegal cannabis store in Cambridge
Leeds County Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a three-vehicle collision that took place just west of the Brockville city limit on Tuesday morning.

The crash occurred on County Road 2 to the west of the Brockville Country Club’s west entrance at about 8:35 a.m.

Provincial and city police, fire and paramedics responded to the scene. One man was transported by ambulance to hospital. He suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to OPP Const. Erin Cranton.

Three people are facing charges after Ontario Provincial Police and Waterloo Regional Police executed a search warrant at an alleged illegal cannabis storefront in Cambridge.

Two of the three SUVs sustained major front-end damage. All three vehicles were taken away on flatbed tow trucks.

OPP say they're continuing to lead an enforcement strategy, along with other police services in the province, to take action against illegal cannabis operations.

County Road 2 was closed in both directions; eastbound traffic was being rerouted at Lyn Road. County Road 2 had reopened by about 10:10 a.m.

Three people are facing charges after officers executed a search warrant at an illegal cannabis store in Cambridge.

A 21-year-old and 44-year-old woman, both from Cambridge, as well as a 50-year-old Hamilton man are charged with possessing cannabis for the purpose of distribution and selling, being contrary to the Cannabis Act, and having proceeds of a crime under $5,000.

Waterloo Regional Police, working with the OPP and Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team, seized pot, rolled cannabis cigarettes, shatter, cash, electronics and weapons.

Three people were taken into custody: 50-year-old George Pearce of Hamilton, 21-year-old Justine Ann-Marie Mancebo and 44-year-old Pritzila Noeggerath, both of Cambridge.

In conjunction with Waterloo police and the Provincial Joint Forces Cannabis Enforcement Team, a search warrant was executed at the business, seizing cash, cannabis, rolled cannabis cigarettes, Shatter, electronics and weapons.

Theyre all facing charges of possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution and selling and proceeds of crime under $5,000.
