Metro Detroit Forecast: Snow and rain this morning
The snowfall is going to amount to 2 cm, meanwhile the wind blowing eastward at 20 km/h later in the morning. 

FRIDAY:  Spotty rain showers possible this afternoon. Then more light snow showers are possible overnight. Highs today will be in the upper 30s.

The snow should taper off around midday for most areas and there will likely be a few breaks of sun, then the wind will pick up and more snow showers will likely develop in the late afternoon and evening. Another burst of an inch or so accumulation could fall between 6pm and 9pm. Roads will be slippery this morning and again this evening. The northwest wind of 20 to 30 mph will create some lower visibility as well this evening. High temps will only be in the 20s.

TONIGHT: Cold and windy with gusts increasing to over 25 mph. Light snow showers possible through Saturday morning. Less than an inch of snow is expected.

SATURDAY: Snow showers are possible in the morning and maybe flurries with some sun in the afternoon. Breezy and cold.  Highs only in the mid 30s. Wind chills in the 20s!

Some light snow will be falling this morning as you head out the door. It could be an inch or so around central Wisconsin but perhaps an additional 2 to 3 inches for area east of Marathon county and east of the I-39 corridor. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY is in effect until noon for Langlade, Shawano, Waupaca, Menominee, and Waushara counties.

The wind will be lighter on Saturday and a little sun will break out, but it will still be cold. High temps will only reach the mid to upper 20s. On Sunday there will be more clouds, a small chance of patchy light snow, and highs in the upper 20s to low 30s.
