Box of items found on arrested Guelph man

NEWS RELEASE GUELPH POLICE SERVICE ************************* On Nov. 8, 2018 at approximately 6:50 a.m. while on routine patrol, Guelph Police observed a male that was known to be wanted in the area of Carden Street.  Guelph Police arrested the male on the strength of the warrant and during the search, Police located what is believed to be crystal meth.

Jacob Malott, a 26-year-old Guelph male, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, two counts of breaching his probation order, and breaching his undertaking. Malott appeared in court on Nov. 8, 2018.

The Guelph Police require the assistance of the public. A box containing several items was located, and at this time it is believed they are stolen. While on regular patrol around 6:50 a.m. officers observed a man that was known to be wanted in the area. Officers arrested the man on the strength of the warrant and during their search officers located what is believed to be crystal meth.

Police are seeking the assistance of the public after a box containing several items was located on a man who was arrested on Thursday.
