Police identify the victim in Hamilton\s 3rd homicide of the year - CHCH News
Man, 33, fatally stabbed; police believe there may be 3 suspects
Shortly before 3 a.m. Saturday morning, police were called to the area of East Ave. and King St. for a male suffering from stab wounds.  Douse was found with life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital where he died hours later.

Police say three suspects may be involved. They were last seen running northbound on East Ave through Beemer Park. No description was given at this time.

Police are asking anyone with information about the fatal stabbing to call 905-546-3821. Anyone with video, specifically dash cam video who may have been in the area are being asked to come forward.

Hamilton police are asking for anyone who may have dash cam video in the area of King St through to Beemer Park and onto Wilson St. E to come forward.

She said those involved ended up in front of a home further north on East Avenue, where police and emergency workers ultimately found a bleeding Douse. The occupants of the house were not involved.

Hamilton police say they responded to a call for a male with stab wounds shortly after 3 a.m. in the area of East Avenue and King Street.

Investigators believe three suspects may be involved, and are searching for three people believed to have run away from the scene through Beemer Park.

Douse said she is still grieving the loss of her adopted son, Shariek Douse, who was shot to death in the courtyard of the former Jamesville social housing complex in 2015.
