Motorcycle rider dies in Milton crash
A 23-year-old Mississauga man died in a motorcycle crash in Milton Monday morning, according to Halton Regional Police.

Police said the man was riding a Honda CBR600RR sport motorcycle on Lower Base Line west of Sixth Line, when he lost control of his vehicle.

The collision reconstruction unit has taken over the investigation. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact police at 905-825-4747 ext. 5065.

Lower Base Line between Fifth Line and Brittania Road was closed for investigation, but later reopened.

Police say that the victim was operating a motorcycle on Lower Base Line near Sixth Line sometime in the early morning hours when he lost control and crashed.

A full reconstruction of the accident is currently being conducted at the scene, according to police.
