Man critical after being shot in Mississauga
A man has life-threatening injuries after he was found in an industrial area of Mississauga, suffering from gunshot wounds.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Hurontario Street and Matheson Boulevard East around 7 a.m. on Thursday.

“It sounds like it was just a random passerby [who] located this male … suffering from gunshot wounds and contacted police,” Const. Sarah Patten said.

Patten said the man had been shot multiple times. The victim’s age is not yet known, but police said he is an older man.

A man was rushed to a trauma centre with critical injuries after being found with multiple gunshot wounds in Mississauga early Thursday.

Peel Regional Police said the man was found outside an industrial building in the area of Hurontario Street and Matheson Boulevard at around 7 a.m.
