A LifeLabs company vehicle rolled into a yard near 13th Avenue and Osler Street after colliding with another car Friday night.

Regina police are searching for a man involved in a two-vehicle crash near 13th Avenue and Osler Street around 8:30 p.m. on Friday.

The two-vehicle collision happened at the corner of Osler St. and 13th Ave. According to police, a car heading westbound on 13 Ave. was hit by another car driving south that failed to stop for a red light. The collision caused the westbound vehicle to roll onto its roof. The man driving the rolled vehicle was taken to hospital for minor injuries.

The suspect driver was seen heading southbound in the east alley of 2100 block Osler St. He is described as Caucasian, approximately 5-10, with an average build, balding and wearing a hat.

Police say the driver of the other car fled the scene on foot, while the passenger remained at the crash site. The passenger was not hurt.

Police have not been able to find the suspect yet. Anyone with information on this incident is being asked to contact the Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.

According to a police news release, officers were dispatched to the intersection of 13th Avenue and Osler Street just after 8:30 p.m. Friday after receiving reports of a two vehicle motor collision.

The initial investigation uncovered that a vehicle travelling westbound on 13th Avenue was struck by another vehicle headed southbound on Osler Street after the southbound vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign.

Police say the impact of the collision caused the westbound vehicle to flip onto its roof and caused both the driver and the lone passenger suffered minor injuries and were transported to hospital by EMS.

It is believed that immediately following the collision the driver of the southbound vehicle fled the scene of the collision on foot and was last seen moving southbound in the east alley of the 2100 block of Osler Street.

The passenger of the southbound vehicle remained at the scene of the collision and did not require any medical attention, the release states.

The driver is described as a balding caucasian male standing approximately 5’10” with an average build, at the time of the collision he was wearing a hat.

Initial attempts to locate the driver of the southbound vehicle were unsuccessful, but the incident remains under investigation.
