Lake Country RCMP were contacted on October 21st when a resident of the 10,900 block of Sherman Drive discovered a smashed driver’s door window on their 2017 Subaru Impreza.  A bank card and iPhone charger were missing from the centre console.  The debit card was found to have been fraudulently used at a couple of local gas stations by the male in the photos.  The photos aren’t super clear, but the suspect is described as a Caucasian male with fair skin, short light brown or red hair, approximately 5’7” to 5’9” tall with a slim build and was wearing a white cap, grey coat, backpack and jeans.   The thief seems to have a penchant for lottery scratch tickets.

On November 2nd, 2018 between the hours of 12:45 and 1:20 p.m. a residence on Carrs Landing Road in Lake Country was broken into and personal items and many valuable pieces of jewlery (including a 1 ct diamond wedding ring and a vintage pearl necklace) were taken.  The homeowner had come home to find a red Dodge truck with a female driver in the driveway stating she was lost and asking for directions.  The resident then discovered the home had been broken into and ransacked.  RCMP believe the female driver was the lookout and that she had an accomplice who committed the break, enter and theft.  The female is described as Caucasian and of average height and body size with auburn hair.  The truck is a newer model red Dodge short box crew cab pickup with no front licence plate.  If you recognize this description or know of the theft, please contact Crime Stoppers.
