Firefighters had to extract two occupants of a car after it left the road and crashed off Circle Drive, just east of Preston Avenue in Saskatoon.

The Saskatoon Fire Department was called at about 2:40 a.m. Sunday to the scene, where the car had crashed into a concrete structure.

Crews stabilized the vehicle and then began extrication. The driver was removed in just over 10 minutes, while the passenger was released 2.5 minutes later, according to a Saskatoon Fire Department news release.

Two people were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries after a vehicle heading westbound on Circle Drive left the road and crashed into a concrete structure early Sunday morning.

Crews stabilized the vehicle and then extracted the two occupants from the vehicle. Both the driver and the passenger were taken to hospital with undetermined but non-life threatening injuries.

Fire crews conducted a shelter in place to protect a woman with mobility challenges during a building fire on Sunday morning.
