Surrey Mounties were called out to the attack at about 4:30 p.m. at King George Boulevard and 60th Avenue.
RCMP confirmed two people were injured, but didn’t have any information about the nature of the injuries, breed of dog or ages of the victims.
RCMP directed any further questions to Surrey’s Animal Resource Centre, which has taken over the case.

A seven-year-old boy and 34-year-old woman were taken to hospital after a dog attack in Surrey Wednesday.

Video posted to social media of the scene shows blood on the sidewalk, a large police presence and a bloody large-breed dog in the back of an RCMP cruiser.
Animal Control officers from the City of Surrey attended the scene and took control of the animal. The citys bylaw department and animal control has taken conduct of the investigation.
