Police say Kevin Wilfred Morrisseau was found unconscious on Sunday, March 11, and was later pronounced dead, after reportedly falling from a second-storey patio door that did not have an attached deck.
Man found dead after fall in Grand Portage
According to a news release from the sheriff's office, emergency responders were called just before 5:00AM to a residence in the Bay Estates area of Grand Portage.
Morrisseau was an employee at the Grand Portage Lodge and Casino, and was said to be socializing with friends at the time of the incident.
The male victim was identified as 47-year-old Kevin Wilfred Morrisseau of Thunder Bay.

COOK COUNTY – A Thunder Bay man has died in Grand Portage on the weekend.
The Cook County Sheriffs Office, Grand Portage Ambulance and First Responders and Cook County Ambulance responded to a residence in the Bay Estates area of Grand Portage around 5 am, on Sunday, March 11. The call came in to 911 Dispatch at 04:54 am. Kevin Wilfred Morrisseau, 47, was found unconscious and later pronounced deceased after reportedly falling from a second-story patio door that did not have a deck attached.
Morrisseau, a resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario, was an employee at the Grand Portage Lodge & Casino and was socializing with friends in Grand Portage at the time of the incident.
