EAST WINDSOR, Conn. (WTNH) – A police chase ended with two detonations in East Windsor on Thursday afternoon.

Teen in Custody After Chase That Ended in East Windsor

Officials said a driver led police on a slow-speed pursuit through South Windsor and into East Windsor on Thursday. According to authorities, the pursuit was along Route 5 before ending on School Street.

Once the chase ended, police said the suspect claimed to have explosives in his vehicle. A bomb squad then responded to the scene and conducted two controlled detonations.
