Man electrocuted, dies at Leamington area greenhouse
OPP, EMS and Leamington firefighters responded to the industrial accident at a greenhouse operation in the 800 block of Road 4 on Monday around 9:30 a.m.

Ministry Spokesperson, Janet Deline says EMS attended the Great Lakes Greenhouse after a report a worker was injured while working on an electrical panel.

The Ontario Provincial Police said the 29-year-old man died of his injuries. His identity has not been disclosed while loved ones are being notified.

Deline said that the ministry has sent an investigator to the scene who has taken over determining how the incident happened.

A 29-year-old man has died after being electrocuted at a greenhouse near Leamington Monday morning, Essex County OPP said.

The Ministry of Labour is investigating after a man was electrocuted Monday at a Leamington greenhouse.

Emergency responders were called to Great Lakes Greenhouse Inc., in the 800 block of Road 4, police say.

Essex County OPP said the industrial accident happened about 9:30 a.m. in the 800 block of Mersea Road 4.

Janet Deline with the Ministry of Labour said the accident happened at Great Lakes Greenhouses. She said the man was working on an electrical panel when he was electrocuted.
