Winnipeg police searching for stolen front-end loader
Lost and found: stolen front-end loader located, say Winnipeg police
A stolen front-end loader that was taken sometime within the last few days has been found, police say.

The loader was taken sometime between Saturday and Monday. It was taken from the area of McGregor Street and Manitoba Avenue. Police announced it had been found shortly after 5 p.m.

The orange 07 Caterpillar 928H front-end loader is marked on both sides with a BayView Construction logo. Its serial number is CXK01701.

A front-end loader had been taken from the McGregor Street and Manitoba Avenue area sometime between Saturday and Monday.

Police put out a release earlier in the day asking for anyone with information about the loader’s whereabouts or information to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

The Winnipeg Police Services homicide unit is investigating after a man was found dead in the North End on Saturday.
